About Coach

Born and raised in Oregon, I’ve always been an adventurous, outdoorsy person. I’ve lived in six different states, traveled to 30 states across the U.S., and had the opportunity to explore both Europe and Canada. When it comes to sports and fitness, I’ve been an athlete for as long as I can remember. It started with softball as a kid, followed by soccer, track, basketball, and even a year of wrestling. Athletics became more than just competition—they became my safe place. When I was 15 years old, I left home and eventually moved in with a family I had never met. They welcomed me with open arms, loved me fiercely (and still do), and challenged me to become the best version of myself. During that time, I was able to earn a full-ride scholarship to play Division I basketball. After college, I felt lost. For the first time in my life, I didn’t know where sports fit into my future. Then I found CrossFit. Within five months of starting CrossFit, I knew I wanted to coach. The reason I became a coach is the same reason that family took a chance on me years ago: to embrace people, believe in them, and help them see what they’re capable of. I want to push athletes to become the best version of themselves while giving them an hour each day where they can laugh, struggle, celebrate, cry, or simply be themselves. Most of all, I want to provide the same unconditional care, support, and sense of belonging that changed my life.
